About Mindfulness Psychiatry
At Mindfulness Psychiatry, my mission is to provide comprehensive, compassionate psychiatric care through an integrative approach. I believe that mental health isn’t just about “what’s wrong with you,” but rather about understanding “what happened to you.” By exploring these connections between your past experiences and current challenges, I combine medication management with mindfulness techniques, psychotherapy, nutraceuticals, and advanced technologies like BrainTap to support mental and emotional well-being. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can:
Gain insight into the underlying causes of your symptoms.
Discover tools to nurture mental health and well-being.
Develop strategies to overcome challenges and build resilience.
I am committed to helping patients develop the skills and knowledge they need for their own healing journey, leading to a balanced and fulfilling life.

GeneSight testing is a simple, genetic test that helps your provider choose the best psychiatric medication’s for you. Based on your genetic makeup, the test can show which medication’s are likely to work well, which might need adjustments, and which ones to avoid. This will reduce trial and error, improve how well your treatment works, and minimize side effects. The test is quick and usually done with a cheek swab.

About Me
With over 25 years of nursing experience and a little more than 2 years as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I've had the privilege of working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges—from anxiety and depression to trauma, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. My journey into psychiatry began when I worked with individuals struggling with opioid use disorder and saw firsthand the deep-seated trauma and untreated mental illnesses they faced. That experience ignited my passion for helping others transform their lives and unlock their true potential. I believe that understanding your mental health is the first step towards living a balanced, purpose-driven life.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two children and husband, going on walks with our dog, and catching soccer and volleyball games. I’m also an avid reader—whether it’s a book or an audiobook—and love to relax with some crocheting or meditate with BrainTap. These activities help keep me grounded and constantly inspire my practice.
If you’re ready to dive deep into the root causes of your mental health challenges and begin your journey to well-being, I’m here to guide you. Let’s work together to cultivate your mental health and help you bloom into your best self.
